Sri Lanka’s Thilini Jayasinghe lost to Portugal’s Telma Santos in their women’s singles group play stage Group M badminton match at the London 2012 Olympic Games at the Wembley Arena yesterday.
Telma beat Thilini 21-9 and 21-11.
It was the second loss for Thilini after Thailand’s two-time world junior champion Rachanok Intanon defeated her on Monday 2-0 in just 21 minutes.
