“Sri Lanka has been close to my heart and more so during the joint roadshow along with Informatics. This I would attribute it to the successful show and the level of interest shown by Sri Lankans to learn about Avid products and to get Avid certification. This also has transpired into planning a certification course on Avid Media Composer in Sri Lanka which will be valid throughout the world. This program is expected around the month of May-June 2014,” said Varghese Devassy, AVID Solutions Specialist for SAARC and APAC Countries.
Through the aid of this partnership the Sri Lankan media industry has been able to capture and produce media on an international level for over a decade. Media entities such as MTV Channel Ltd., Asian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC Networks) and State media organisations such as the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation have utilised products and service offerings created through this partnership to fulfil their production needs.
Avid and Informatics provide a holistic end-to-end product and service offering to many media entities within Sri Lanka. This partnership has yielded many revolutionary solutions including industrial grade broadcasting solutions that have been implemented within the Sri Lankan media industry.
