Registration begins for Colombo University BIT Degree at OpenArc

For the past 20 years, OpenArc Education has focused on making their graduates truly “employment ready” long way before their graduation. With a lot of academic success stories in hand, OpenArc Campus has begun registering students for the Bachelor of Information Technology external degree of the University of Colombo. OpenArc, an institution that had been conducting classes for the Colombo University BIT degree for a period of 14 years since the inception of the program has made arrangements to provide a host of special benefits to students registering with them this year.

OpenArc Group’s new six-storeyed building complex houses both Campus and the software development facility. This enables students to share experience with software developers. Another specialty of the OpenArc School of Business and technology is that the students would be able to study under a student-friendly staff with over 10 years of experience in IT and education fields. 

OpenArc recommends students to join the full-time BIT program, which enables them to continue their studies while gaining software development exposure. The students experience the in-campus environment, where they spend at least four days per week on learning and researching. Its full time students have produced very good results at examinations too. Those who are working can join the part time course that offers classes one day of the week (Saturday or Sunday). 

OpenArc Systems Management Ltd. (OSM), the parent company of the OpenArc School, is the industry leader in developing software for the merchant banks and finance and leasing companies of Sri Lanka.
