Science College captain and crack player Lasindu Ishan and Isipathana three quarter AsithaPunchihewa have found their place for the second leg of the Youth Asian Rugby sevens with the Sri Lankan squad which will be worked off in Hong Kong on 21 and 22 August. Both left to Hong Kong yesterday to join the team.
Sri Lanka who performed remarkably well in the first leg in Malaysia achieving number 2 will be working hard to end on top in the second leg. Sri Lanka’s main worry was not having heavy and mobile forwards who could be a threat for Hong Kong who are with number of overseas players in their camp.
The team is captained by Petrite Kevin Dixon and coached by Colin Dinesh.
