Laugfs Holdings Chairman W.K.H. Wegapitiya to speak at TMC May Members Meet

W.K.H. Wegapitiya, a renowned businessman and Chairman of Laugfs Holding Ltd. – a diversified enterprise engaged in a variety of businesses, will address the members and guests at the Members Meet of the Management Club on 18 May.

Wegapitiya graduated from the prestigious Sri Jayewardenepura University (B.Sc) Business Administration, and is also a holder of MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management affiliated to the same university. He is presently reading for the PhD at the Post Graduate Institute of Management.

He is the Past Chairman of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), former Senior Vice President of FCCISL, Member of Executive Council Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and National Pay Commission and Governing Council of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

From a humble beginning, he stayed on the painful track, outperforming adversaries and finally made his vision a reality by becoming the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010 and Asia Pacific Entrepreneur in 2011.
