Pan Asia Bank, one of the fastest growing banks in Sri Lanka recently completed the third session of the speech craft program which was initially introduced for its employees in 2012. This program which is being offered with the support of the Colombo Toastmasters Club is a part of the bank’s overall strategy of investing in employees’ skills development.
The bank has so far arranged three speech craft programs and encouraged by the positive outcome witnessed thus far, the management has decided to establish a toastmasters club within the bank for the benefit of the majority of staff members.
The grand finale of the speech craft program which was held recently with the presence of the cooperate management and officials of the Colombo Toastmasters Club.

Pan Asia Bank CEO Dimantha Seneviratne expressing his views stated, “I am delighted to see the improvements shown by those who have taken part in this program. This is a great opportunity for our valued staff to develop their speaking and listening skills, overcoming the fear of public speaking and learn to project thoughts with clarity while also having fun. Team building, interpersonal communication, impromptu speaking and presentation skills are few that any member could master having joined this program
conducted by the toastmasters.”
Pan Asia Bank Head of HR Rohitha Amarapala said that this would be a good platform for employees to develop their communication skills and self-confidence.
