San Jose, California: Hemas Holdings PLC, a publicly listed Sri Lankan company with over 40 subsidiaries and 5,000 employees, has teamed up with Emojot to engage further with their customers through the use of Emojot’s emotion sensors.
Hemas Holdings is a leading player in personal care and healthcare. Emojot is one of the most exciting audience engagement and customer insight platforms of the future. A Silicon Valley based, Sri Lankan-owned startup, Emojot Inc. now has a presence in four countries – Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and the US.
Emojot’s emotion sensors have so far been used across three verticals of Hemas. The company’s ‘Fit for Life’ Wellness program is a pledge to be the healthiest workforce in Sri Lanka. In order to achieve this ambitious venture, corporate wellness has introduced a number of different initiatives. Emojot’s emotion sensors are being used to keep track of the fitness program participants and get constant feedback from them to instantaneously fix any issues that may arise. Thus far, based on the real time feedback they have received from participants, Hemas has been able to adjust various aspects of the program to better suit employees.
Hemas Hospitals are currently using Emojot sensors in their Pharmacy and Radiology departments. Tablets have been placed across these areas where visitors are allowed to express how they feel in terms of their customer experience with just a touch on a screen.
As one of Sri Lanka’s pioneering destination management companies, Hemas Travels and Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka (DTSL) offer a variety of services that reflect the diversity of the country, and the depth of the Sri Lankan travel experience. Emojot sensors are now being deployed at various points of a client’s tour and will soon be activated to capture the pain points of travellers. This feedback will enable management to take proactive measures.
Hemas Holdings Group CEO Steven Enderby stressed that, “Effective marketing is all about engagement, connecting with customers and finding innovative, interesting ways to build long-term relationships. We are tremendously excited to have partnered with Emojot because they offer a whole new paradigm of emotion based marketing opportunities.”
Emojot Founder Dr. Shahani Markus said, “With Emojot you’ll get to the heart of what really matters in your customers’ lives. Harvard and Stanford Universities are doing interesting research studies that establish that emotions are the dominant driver of most meaningful decisions in life. This is why harnessing data and learnings from top-of-mind contextual analytics is a game changer. Emojot’s emotion sensors use emojis – the fastest growing language in the world, with over six billion used every day. Our sweet spot is to take this trend and combine it with big data and deep learning to create insights that help our clients attract and retain customers and employees.”
