The much awaited American action film Fast & Furious 8 (The Fate of the Furious) will be screened in over 20 Sri Lankan cinemas from Saturday 15 April 2017 onwards.
According to Liberty Cinemas Ltd., which has imported and distributed the film locally, Fast & Furious 8 will be shown in the following cinemas: Savoy Premier 3D, Savoy 3D, Liberty Lite 3D, Vista Lite 3D, Sky Lite 3D - Matara, Amity Lite 2D, Sky Lite 3D - Malabe, Queens 3D - Galle, Excel 3D, Arena 3D - Katugasthota, Cinemax 3D - Ja-Ela, NIT 3D - Ratnapura, NIT 3D - Kurunagala, Chaya 3D - Kegalle, Minerwa 3D -Kaluthara, Liberty by Scope 1 & 2 -3D, Willmax 3D - Anuradapura, Jothy 3D - Ratnapura, Nikado - Kadawatha, Sinexpo - Kurunagala, Jayabima - Gampola and New Dharshana - Koswadiya.
It is the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise and stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren.Now that Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) are on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia have retired from the game, and the rest of the crew has been exonerated, the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom back into a world of crime that he can’t seem to escape, the crew will face trials that will test them as never before.
