The 10th International Schools Chess Championship 2017 was organised by Regent International College – Gampaha.
Thirteen international schools took part and more than 600 chess players were involved in this tournament.
Lyceum International School Nugegoda chess players showcased their talent by achieving the following results:
Under 08 age group – Second Place, Under 10, 12 and 16 – First Place with 09 board prize winners and with a total team score of 37 points to clinch the overall Chess Championship 2017.
