Nestomalt has announced its first-ever ‘Salary for Life’ competition winner, Avishka Koswatte from Pilimathalawa. Only 20 years old, she will receive Rs. 50,000 every month from Nestomalt until she turns 55, subject to the competition’s terms and conditions.

The campaign is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka, where Nestomalt aims to not only reward loyal consumers, but also help kick-start their journey to achieve their ambitions and progress in life.

“Nestomalt has been a Sri Lankan household favourite for decades, powering a positive start for generations of Sri Lankan families. By offering additional financial resources through our Nestomalt ‘Salary for Life’ competition, we hope to help power progress for our consumers by enabling them to do something positive for themselves.”

“Nestomalt’s ambition is to ‘positively charge every family’s progress and the campaign reflects this. We’re extremely pleased with its success and look forward to kicking off the second year,” said Nestlé’s Dairy Vice President Ruwan Welikala.

The Nestomalt ‘Salary for Life’ competition requires Nestomalt consumers between 18 and 50 years to mail the flap of a 400g Nestomalt pack to be eligible for a raffle draw. One winner each year, picked at random, will receive Rs. 50,000 a month from Nestomalt until they turn 55, as per the terms and conditions of the competition. Avishka Koswatte is the first-ever winner of the campaign and entries for 2021 will be open from December 2020.

“I always wanted to become a teacher and winning this competition means I can now pursue my higher studies and embark on a teaching career. Thank you Nestomalt for making my dreams come true,” said Avishka.

“As our flagship brand, Nestomalt embodies our ambition to nourish Sri Lanka, and this campaign reflects our purpose to enhance the lives of Sri Lankan families. I’m proud that Nestomalt continues to think innovatively, to ensure an enduring positive impact for its consumers,” said Nestlé’s Managing Director Fabrice Cavallin.
