Ambeon Holdings partners with Redworks to win big at LACP Awards 2019

  • Ambeon Holdings’ annual report was ranked 38th amongst the ‘Top 100 Reports Worldwide 2018/19
  • The report also bagged the gold award in the conglomerate sector

The Annual Report 2018/19 of Ambeon Holdings PLC titled ‘Ambitions Aligned’ has been ranked 38th amongst the ‘Top 100 Reports Worldwide 2018/19’ at the recently concluded Vision Awards Annual Report competition organised by the League of American Communication Professionals (LACP), USA. Further, the report has been recognised with a Gold Award (joint) in the conglomerate sector. 

Vision Awards, organised by LACP, is the world’s most renowned annual report competition and attracts submissions from organisations across the world. Entries are received from across the globe and evaluated based on criteria such as first impression, report cover, narrative, creativity, letter to shareholders, report financials, message clarity and information accessibility. The Ambeon Holdings PLC Annual Report garnered 98 points out of 100 to be the only Sri Lankan entity to be among the top 50 regional entries. 

Accepting this accolade on behalf of Ambeon Holdings PLC, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ambeon Group, Murali Prakash stated, “We are certainly honoured that the company has been recognised in this global platform in par with well recognised global entities. Maintaining world class standards, this award also endorses our commitment to transparent reporting initiatives.”

Commenting further Prakash stated, “The FY 2018/19 was the year of transformation when the Group embraced change and experienced extensive restructuring initiatives. This included efficiency building measures and market development initiatives along with collective focus on optimised investments thereby increasing shareholder value. The annual report themed ‘Ambitions Aligned’ captured the transformative journey the Group underwent in building an agile, dynamic and sustainable conglomerate.”

The concept of the Annual Report 2018/19 was themed as ‘Ambitions Aligned’ which reflected the organisations transformative journey following the Group’s strategic transformation process. This also highlights the commitment of the stakeholder centric approach to business. The Annual Report was conceptualised and produced by Redworks a group company of the Ogilvy Group – Phoenix O&M Ltd.
