CIOB 2021 Budget and Construction Industry webinar on Wednesday

A webinar on ‘2021 Budget and Construction Industry’ organised by the Ceylon Institute of Builders, will be held on Wednesday (9 December) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

CIOB President Dr. Rohan Karunaratne said: “We are organising this webinar to educate those in the field about how the 2021 Budget will affect the construction industry. The construction industry is the most important sector of the country's economy. The construction industry can contribute about 10% to Sri Lanka's GDP. The number of people directly and indirectly dependent on this industry is around one million. Money in the construction industry circulates between all classes of society, from the lowest to the highest.”
