The Daily FT-Colombo University MBA Alumni Association organised 2021 Budget Forum today will feature the best of the best from the business community to provide a critical view from the top, with Money, Capital Markets and Public Enterprise Reform Minister Nivard Cabraal and Treasury Secretary S. R. Attygalle in attendance.
The format of the popular annual Budget forum this year will be unique as it will be live telecast on Ada Derana 24 from 9:30 a.m. onwards as well as available live on FT FB page and FT YouTube channel; FT, Daily Mirror, Daily Lankadeepa, and Tamil Mirror websites; and their respective FB pages.
The business leaders who will share key insights from a macro and sectoral perspective are Hayleys PLC Co-Chairman Dhammika Perera, John Keells Holdings PLC Chairman Krishan Balendra, Access Engineering PLC Chairman Sumal Perera, Hemas Holdings PLC Group CEO Kasturi Wilson, Expolanka Holdings PLC Group CEO Hanif Yusoof, Standard Chartered Bank Sri Lanka CEO Bingumal Thewarathanthri, 99X Technology CEO Mano Sekaram, PricewaterhouseCoopers Director Charmaine Tillekeratne and SC Securities Ltd. Head of Research Charitha Gunasekere. It will be moderated by Daily FT Editor and CEO Nisthar Cassim.
Unlike most of the post Budget fora held this week, the Daily FT-Colombo Uni. MBAAA event, apart from featuring the top business leaders, will be televised and broadcast live from the BMICH, the host venue.
