The Motor Traffic Department yesterday said that as the country’s situation has gradually returned to normal it was returning to its standard services from this month. “Considering the current situation of the country, the services provided by our department were subject to certain limitations owing to the risk of the spread of COVID-19, but it has now been decided to normalise all services from 1 July,” the Department stated in a short statement.
The Department said that since normal services have been resumed there was no necessity to reserve dates before obtaining services. However, the clients who enter the premises should adhere to health guidelines, including wearing masks, sterilisation, and maintaining mandated distances.
“We kindly apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of the pandemic prevention measures followed by us,” the department stating, ending its statement.
