Top names on SriLankan Airlines’ new Board

Finance Ministry has appointed top professionals and business leaders to the new Board of SriLankan Airlines.

Apart from Chairman Ashok Pathirage (Chairman Softlogic Holdings PLC) who was appointed earlier on, the new appointed members of the SriLankan Airlines Board of Directors are Brandix Group CEO Ashroff Omar, Dilmah Group Director Malik Fernando, top lawyers Manohara De Silva PC and Samantha Ratwatte PC and the Asia-Pacific node for Boston Consulting Group’s shipping, transportation, and logistics sectors Sanjaya Mohottala.

He is also a core member and Southeast Asia node for the Corporate Development and Principal Investors and Private Equity practices.

The previous Board included Chairman G.S. Withanage, Johann Wijesinghe and Prof. Arjuna De Silva, all of whom have resigned.
