The isolation status in Colombo and Gampaha Districts has been revised, with the removal, continuation, and activation of isolation in several areas announced by National Operations Centre for the Prevention of the COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) Head Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva yesterday.
According to a statement issued by the Department of Government Information, the Bluemendal Police Division and the Wijayapura Grama Niladaris Division of the Wellampitiya Police Division are no longer isolated.
The Hunupitiya Grama Niladaris Division of the Slave Island Police Division, Hatewatte in the Cinnamon Gardens Police Division, and Kokila Road in the Wellawatte Police Division were isolated from 5 a.m. today.
Modara, Kotahena, Grandpas, Wolfendal Street, Dam Street, Keselwatte, Maligawatta, Dematagoda and Maradana Police Divisions as well as the Wekanda Grama Niladari Division of the Slave Island Police Division, Wanathamulla Grama Niladari Division of the Borella Police Division, Salamulla Grama Niladhari Division and the Laksanda Sevana Housing Scheme in the Wellampitiya Police Division, and the Randiya Uyana Housing Scheme and South of Ferguson Road in the Mattakkuliya Police Division will continue to be isolated.
In Gampaha District, Kelaniya Police Division and select Grama Niladaris Divisions in the Wattala and Peliyagoda Police Divisions are no longer isolated.
The Kerawalapitiya, Hekittha, Kurunduhena, Evariwatte and Welikadamulla Grama Niladhari Divisions of the Wattala Police Division, Peliyagodawatte, Peliyagoda, Meegahawatte and Pattiya North Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Peliyagoda Police Division, and the Welegoda North Grama Niladhari Division in the Kiribathgoda Police Division were isolated from 5 a.m. today.
Isolation enforced in other parts of the country will remain unchanged until further notice.
