Three United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) parliamentarians were sworn yesterday as Cabinet Ministers and a State Minister before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat.
MP Dinesh Gunawardena was sworn in as the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development and Vasudeva Nanayakkara took oaths as the Minister of National Integration, Reconciliation and Official Languages.
UPFA MP Keheliya Rambukwella was sworn in as State Minister of Media and Digital Infrastructure.
UNP national list parliamentarian Ashoka Priyantha was sworn in as Deputy Minister of Cultural and Internal Affairs and Regional Development (Wayamba).
On 3 November A.H.M. Fowzie was sworn in as the State Minister of National Unity, Co-existence and Muslim Religious Affairs.
