Mahesh Deepal finished with impressive figures of 05 wickets for 20 runs in 05 overs, as he steered Hayleys Group ‘B’ to their fourth successive win, beating Aitken Spence by 09 wickets in the ongoing 10th Stafford Motor Co. sponsored ‘Honda’ Trophy – MCA ‘G’ division 25 Over League Tournament 2021, continued last weekend (27-28 March).
The best bowling for the weekend was by Anuranga Ovitigala from Singer SL ‘B’ who bagged 05 wickets for 07 runs in 05 overs which helped them to a comfortable 51 runs win over NDB ‘B’.
Weekend’s batting honours went to the three half centurions – Rohan Derling from Singer ‘B’ (68 Vs. NDB ‘B’), Dinuja Peiris from Aitken Spence (64 Vs, Zillione Systems) and Sivaraja Kumereshan from Kish Group (61 Vs. MD Gunasena).
