oneworld named Best Airline Alliance by Business Traveller Awards

oneworld has yet again been named Best Airline Alliance in the 2020 Business Traveller Awards, taking home the award for the eighth year in a row.

With winners chosen by the readers of Business Traveller magazine, the awards have recognised the industry’s preferred travel and hospitality providers for more than 30 years.

On behalf of the alliance, oneworld Chief Transformation Officer Rishi Kapoor (right in photo) accepted the award personally in London from Panacea Media Managing Director Julian Gregory. Panacea Media, headquartered in London, is the publisher of Business Traveller.

oneworld member airlines British Airways and Qatar Airways were also named winners in the 2020 Business Traveller Awards, with each airline receiving five awards.

British Airways was recognised with the awards for Best Short-Haul Carrier, Best Frequent Flyer Programme, Best Airport Lounge (Concorde Room at London Heathrow Terminal 5), Best New Seat and Best Travel App.

Qatar Airways was named winner of Best Airline, Best Long-Haul Airline, Best Business Class, Best Middle Eastern Airline and Best Inflight Food and Beverage.
