37 new COVID-19 patients, total cases at 755

Thirty-seven new COVID-19 positive patients have been confirmed between yesterday and this morning, the Health Ministry said, increasing the total number of cases to 755.

Of the 33 people tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, 31 of them are Sri Lanka Navy personnel and the other two are from the Army detected from quarantine camps.

The other four people tested positive for COVID-19 today, the Health Ministry added.

A total of 194 patients have recovered and been discharged, while 137 individuals are currently under investigation in hospitals.
