The Great Wall 3D from today in 6 Lankan cinemas

The epic historical fiction action-adventure film The Great Wall 3D will be released today in six cinemas – Savoy Premier, Excel Cinema, Vista Lite, Liberty Lite, Sky Lite Malabe and Sky Lite Matara. 

Starring global superstar Matt Damon and directed by one of the most breathtaking visual stylists of our time, Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers), Legendary’s The Great Wall tells the story of an elite force making a valiant stand for humanity on the world’s most iconic structure. 

The first English-language production for Yimou is the largest film ever shot entirely in China. The Great Wall also stars Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe and Andy Lau.

The epic historical fiction action-adventure film The Great Wall is a 2016 revolves around European mercenaries searching for black powder become embroiled in the defense of the Great Wall of China against a horde of monstrous creatures.

The Sri Lankan release on Friday is ahead of the US which will be on 17 February by Universal Pictures.
