The annual Aloka Pooja (illumination) of the Thanthirimale Chaithya was held for the 11th time under the guidance of the temple’s Chief Incumbent and North-East Province Deputy Chief Sanghanayake Ven. Thanthirimale Chandrarathana Thero. The Aloka Pooja has been sponsored every year by Wijeya Newspapers Ltd.
