The Hayleys PLC Annual Report for the financial year ending 31st March 2024 adheres to several globally accepted sustainability reporting frameworks including the GRI Standards, the Integrated Reporting Framework and the relevant industry standards of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. The Group also opted for early adoption of the SLFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards S1 and S2, applying the transitional relief allowed for first-time adopters. In line with the adoption of the new standards, considerable emphasis was also placed on strengthening sustainability governance mechanisms and risks management processes and improving emission-related reporting. In line with the requirements of the new standards, the Group has sought to widen its risk lens through embedding the identification and management of sustainability-related risks and opportunities into its risk processes, controls and culture.
