With a view to advance the technical capabilities of Suren Cooke Agencies (SCA) in servicing its clients, the company’s Director, Rajitha Cooke recently attended a training in Japan in servicing of the array of Riken Keiki brand of products. The insights and best practices gained during the training will be shared with the SCA teams through a knowledge transfer session.

Established in 1985, SCA is the only organization registered in Sri Lanka as a provider of services to both residential and commercial clients covering all facets of pest management. The company also offers a wide range of products and services that prevent industrial disasters.  Guided by the commitment to deliver its services with utmost safety to the people and environment, SCA procures products from leading global suppliers.

The company serves as the sole representative in Sri Lanka to procure the full range of industrial gas detectors offered by the Japan- based Riken Keiki Co. Ltd - a world-renowned leader in gas detection and environmental measurement products operating since 1939, which has its roots in Japan’s largest comprehensive research institution RIKEN.

“Our aim is to ensure every integral safety product performs effectively and reliably. We have therefore established strategic partnerships with global manufacturers who adhere to highest quality standards. Visiting the Riken Keiki’s facility provided a valuable opportunity to see the emphasis the manufacturer put on quality and standards. The training helped gain insights on the usage of equipment used at the facility,” says Rajitha.

The training would also enable SCA advice on the better usage of Riken brand of products and devices to its clients, he adds.

Suren Cooke Agencies also acts as a part of Riken Keiki’s international support network, offering testing and servicing for the latter’s international customers operating in Sri Lanka.
