Carolina Estate, managed by Watawala Plantations, established an all time record price of Rs. 570/- for an invoice of CTC BPS in the Medium Grown category at this week’s tea auction held on 1 February.
The purchase was made by Akbar Brothers Limited and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells.
