All-time record price for Chrystlers Farm Estate

Chrystlers Farm Estate known for producing quality teas, re-established an all-time record price of Rs. 2,250 per kg for a PEKOE1 grade in the Western High category under the “St. Andrews” mark, at the weekly tea auction held on 13 September. This surpassed their previous record price of Rs. 2,200 per kg for the same grade obtained at the tea auction held on 6 September. 

Chrystlers Farm Estate, located in Kotagala, comes under the purview of Kotagala Plantations PLC. This invoice of tea was purchased by Uniworld Teas and was marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.
