Dickwella Estate establishes all-time record price
Dickwella Estate established an all-time record price of Rs. 2,750 per kg for a BOPFSp grade, surpassing their own record of Rs. 2,700 per kg for the same grade in the Uva Medium Grown category at the weekly online tea auctions held on 13/14 September.
This estate which is situated in the Uva Planting District and Hali Ela/Demodera agro-climatic sub region is ISO 22000:2018 and Rainforest Alliance certified.
This estate is managed by Malwatte Valley Plantations under the stewardship of Regional Manager Chaminda Perera and veteran Factory Head A.M. Shajahan.

Queensberry Estate shines once again
Queensberry Estate situated in the Dimbula planting district achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,550 per kg for a BOPSp grade in the Western High Grown category at the weekly online tea auctions held on 13/14 September.
This estate is situated at an elevation of 1,300 metres above sea level and has maintained a consistent standard over the years with ISO 22000:2018 and Rainforest Alliance certification for manufacturing high-quality orthodox leafy tea in the respective region.
Queensberry Estate is managed by Kahawatte Plantation PLC under the stewardship of Director Plantations Chaminda Gunarathna and Estate Manager Prageeth Wanigasekera.

Blairlomond Estate excels once again
Blairlomond Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,700 per kg for a FBOPF1 grade in the Uda Pussellawa Region at the weekly online tea auctions held on 13/14 September.
This estate is Rainforest Alliance certified and the estate is managed by Udapussellawa Plantations PLC, an associate of Browns Power Holdings Ltd. under the stewardship of Amila Udana Weerasinghe.

Kiruwanaganga Estate achieves all-time record price at Colombo Tea Auctions
Kiruwanaganga Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 3,250 per kg for the BOPSp grade in the Low Grown Region at the weekly online tea auctions held on 13/14 September.
This estate situated in the Deniyaya planting region in the Matara District is renowned for producing strong flavoured, full bodied black tea, and is ISO 22000:2018 and Rainforest Alliance certified.
Kiruwanaganga Estate is managed by Talawakelle Tea Estates PLC, a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC under the stewardship of Regional General Manager Gimhan Jayatilleke who was instrumental in achieving this feat.
Wellandura Estate establishes yet another all-time record price
Wellandura Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,250 per kg for a FNGS grade, surpassing their own record of Rs. 2,150 per kg for the same grade in the Off-Grades category at the weekly e-auctions held on 13/14 September.
This estate is located in Kahawatte in the Ratnapura District and consists of almost 400 hectares of tea and rubber at an elevation of 162 metres above sea level. Wellandura Estate is ISO 22000:2018 – food, safety and hygiene management standard certified ensuring high quality standards are met throughout the production process.
