Dickwella achieves another all-time record price

Dickwella Estate under the selling mark of ‘St. James’, achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 3,250 per kg for a BOP grade surpassing its own record of Rs. 2,600 per kg (which was achieved last week) for the same grade in the Uva Medium Grown category at the weekly online Tea Auctions held on 08/09 August 2022.

This Estate is located at an elevation of 1,230 metres above sea level in Hali Ella and was commissioned in 1934. It is renowned for its consistent production of high-quality seasonal teas during the Uva season. This Estate is ISO 22000:2005 Management System Certified for Manufacture of Black Tea. Dickwella Estate is managed by Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC under the stewardship of the Group Manager Chaminda Perera and veteran Factory Head A.M. Shajahan.

 

Dunsinane Estate secures yet another all-time record price

Dunsinane Est-ate, situated in Punduloya, achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,000 per kg for a PF1 grade surpassing its previous record of Rs. 1,750 per kg last week for the same grade in the High Grown CTC category at the weekly online Tea Auctions held on 08/09 August 2022.

This Estate is situated in the Dimbula Planting district at an elevation of 1,400 metres above sea level and is Rainforest Alliance, ISO 22000 – food, safety and hygiene management standard certified. Dunsinane Estate is managed by Elpitiya Plantations and comes under the stewardship of Asela Udumullage.
