Queensberry Estate continues to better its all-time record
Queensberry Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,700 per kg for a BOPSp grade, surpassing their own record of Rs. 2,550 per kg for the same grade in the Western High Grown category at the weekly online tea auctions held on 20/21 September.
This Estate is located at elevation of 1,300 metres above sea level within the Dimbula Planting Region. Queensberry Estate has maintained a consistent standard over the years and is ISO 22000:2018 certified for manufacturing high-quality Orthodox Leafy tea in the respective region.
Queensberry Estate is managed by Kahawatte Plantation under the stewardship of Director Plantations Chaminda Gunarathna and Estate Manager Prageeth Wanigasekera.

Delmar Estate excels at the tea auctions
Delmar Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,050 per kg for a OP grade in the Uda Pussellawa Region at the weekly tea auction held on 20/21 September, surpassing its own record of Rs. 2,000 per kg for the same grade, raising the bar as they continue to make high-quality Ceylon Tea.
The factory which has been built in 1915 is at an elevation of 1,524 metres above mean sea level and is Rainforest Alliance certified ensuring good quality standards are maintained in the production process.
Delmar Estate is managed by Udapussellawa Plantations, an associate of Browns Power Holdings Ltd., under the stewardship of Shamil Perera.
