Hingalgoda Tea Factory sustained its record-breaking spree by yet again establishing two all-time record prices at the tea auction of 10 January with a PF 1 grade at Rs. 960 and a PFGS grade at Rs. 800.

During 2017, the PF1 grade from Hingalgoda Tea Factory established record prices on 13 occasions, whilst for the PFGS grade on five occasions. Consistency and superior product quality have been “hallmark” of this factory. Hingalgoda teas are well sought-after by the exporters at the weekly Colombo Tea Auctions.
