Allen Valley Tea Factory sets up all-time record price

At the Tea Auction held on 20 and 29 March, an invoice of BOPF Sp Grade manufactured by Allen Valley Tea Factory in Morawaka realised an all-time record price of Rs. 1,800 for the BOPF Sp grade of Inv. 125.

This factory is situated in the foothills of the Sinharaja Forest and accepts a high-quality standard of green leaf for manufacture.

The factory is owned and operated by the Morawakkorale Tea Producers Corporative Factory.

The tea was sold through the catalog of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd. and was purchased by Ceylon Tea Marketing Ltd.
