Avissawella Tea Factory establishes another all-time record Price

Avissawella tea factory renowned for weekly top prices and all-time record prices for many grades under the «Sithaka» selling mark, achieved yet another all-time record price, this time for their OP1 grade at this week›s tea auctions held on 19 and 20 April.

This OP1 grade recorded a price of Rs. 3700/- and this tea was purchased by Tea Tang Ltd. The sale was successfully handled by Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd.

This state-of-the-art tea factory is situated in Avissawella – Seethawaka Industrial Zone.

Sithaka Tea Factory owned by Lalith Liyanage of RTS Holdings produces the finest Low grown teas and has won many awards both internationally and locally for producing select best quality of teas in Sri Lanka.

This factory has achieved many certifications such as RA certification, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP to ensure that they maintain fine quality manufacture.

Liyanage is a successful entrepreneur and the proud owner of both Hidellana Tea Factory and Avissawella tea factory, Lake Serenity Resort, Cinnamon Serenity Villa, Bopath Fall Rock chalets, RTS heavy equipment Ltd., and RTS Petroleum.

 

Ury Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Ury Tea Factory situated in Passara, of Balangoda Plantations PLC achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 19/ 20 April by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,850 per kg for OPA grade in the Uva Medium category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S. Imperial Teas Ltd.

 

Sanquhar Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Sanquhar Tea Factory situated in Pussellawa, of Pussellawa Plantations Ltd achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 19/20 April by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,950 per kg for PEK1 grade in the Western Medium category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S. Inter Tea Ltd.

 

Ranaya Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Ranaya Tea Factory situated in Ettampitiya, Bandarawela achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 19/20 April by securing an attractive price of Rs. 2,450 per kg for OP1 grade in the Uva High Grown category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S. Enrich Tea & Food Exports Ltd.

The Proprietor of Ranaya Tea factory is Wasantha Jayasekara.

 

Liddesdale Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Liddesdale Tea Factory situated in Halgranoya under the management of Maturata Plantations PLC owned by LOLC group achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 19/ 20 April by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,700 per kg for OPA grade in the Udapussellawa region.

Maturata Plantations PLC managed by Chief Operating Officer Tharindu Wickramasinghe, Head of Marketing (Browns Plantation PLC) Ashan Fernando and Acting Group Manager-Up country Thiwanka Wijayasundara. 

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to M/S Swiss Singapore Enterprises Ltd.
