Blairlomond Estate achieves all-time record price amidst declining market

Blairlomond Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,100 per kg for a FBOP grade in the Uda Pussellawa Region at the weekly tea auctions held on 24 and 25 May. This surpassed their own record of Rs. 2,000 per kg for the same grade set on 5 April.  

This estate is Rainforest Alliance certified and the estate is managed by Udapussellawa Plantations PLC, an associate of Browns Power Holdings Ltd under the stewardship of Amila Udana Weerasinghe.  This line of tea was exclusively sold and marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
