C. W. Mackie PLC recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industries, the Agricultural Sector Modernisation Project, and 2K Agro Products Ltd. The project is funded by the European Union (EU).
Celebrating a remarkable milestone in a journey that began in 2018, C. W. Mackie PLC has shown a vital role played in domestic production that can significantly contribute to the national agro-economy through import substitution while also boosting export earnings. Further, development of agricultural value chains that ensure farmer producer organisations sustainability, improving their livelihoods, and further helping the farmer community with their children’s education.
This project represents the spirit of collaboration and a brighter future for our farmers, our economy, and our country. This engagement is made for the betterment of our nation as a whole.
In line with these initiatives, C. W. Mackie has proudly commissioned one of the most advanced snack processing facilities in Sri Lanka, providing added employment to the local community.
