Wathurawila Tea Factory establishes an “all-time record price”

 

Wathurawila Tea Factory situated in Elpitiya, managed by Evergreen Group of Companies achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 22/23 March by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,650 /- per kg for BOP grade in the Low Grown category.

Evergreen Group of Companies owned by Aruna de Silva. Wathurawila Tea Factory is managed by lndika Nallapperuma (Director), Rusith Nallapperuma (Manager) and K.H. Chandana Kumara (Factory Officer).

This tea was purchased by Vintage Teas Ceylon Ltd. The sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC

 

Ranaya Tea Factory establishes an all-time record price

 

Ranaya Tea Factory situated in Ettampitiya achieved an All-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 22/23 March by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,200/- per kg for BOPSP grade in the Uva High Grown category. 

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to Anverally & Sons.

The proprietor of Ranaya Tea factory is Wasantha Jayasekara.

 

Weddemulla Tea Factory establishes an all-time record price

 

Weddemulla Tea Factory situated in Ramboda, of Agalawatte Plantations PLC and owned by Damro Group achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 22/23 March by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,140/- per kg for OP1 grade in the High Grown category.

The tea was purchased by Continental Tea Ltd., and the sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
