Dehiwatte Tea Factory situated in Handessa, owned by N.M.M. Brothers Ltd. achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on 29-30 March by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,550 per kg for OP grade in the Western Medium elevation category.

This tea was marketed by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC and was sold to Mabroc Teas Ltd.
