Delta Estate achieves all-time record price

Delta Estate renowned for producing thick, coloury teas achieved an all – time record price of Rs.1,360 per kg for a BPI grade in the CTC Medium Grown category, at this week’s tea auction held on 28 September. This line of tea was purchased by Van Rees Ceylon Ltd.

Delta Estate located in Pupuressa comes under the purview of Pussellawa Plantations Ltd., which is part of the Damro Group. This invoice of tea was marketed and sold by broker John Keells.
