Delta Estate achieves yet another all-time record price

Delta Estate re-established an all-time record price of Rs. 1,420 per kg for a BPI grade in the CTC Medium Grown category at this week’s tea auction held on 26 October. This surpassed their previous record price of Rs. 1,400 per kg for the same grade achieved three weeks ago. This line of tea was purchased by Ceylon Tea Marketing.

Delta Estate located in Pupuressa comes under the purview of Pussellawa Plantations Ltd., which is part of the Damro Group. This invoice of tea was marketed and sold by broker John Keells PLC.
