Donside Tea Factory sets an all- time record price

A price of Rs. 1,550 per kg for a BPS grade in the CTC Medium Category was obtained by Donside Tea Factory at the weekly tea auction held on 3 August. Donside Tea Factory is situated in Nawalapitiya and comes under the purview of Donside Plantations.

This invoice of tea was purchased by Van Rees Ceylon Ltd. and was marketed and sold by tea broker John Keells.
