Glenanore Estate achieves two all-time record prices

Glenanore Estate once again showcased their outstanding capabilities in manufacturing the highest quality of ‘Ceylon Tea’ by achieving two all-time record prices consecutively in the Uva High Grown Region at the Colombo Tea Auction held on 14 March.

FBOP Grade recorded a price of Rs. 1,400 per kg and OP1 Grade recorded a price of Rs. 1,200 per kg.

These lines of tea were constructively marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.

Established in the year 1892 Glenanore Estate is situated in Haputale at an elevation of 1,372 metres in the Uva agro-climatic district. This estate is ISO22000:2018 and HACCP certified ensuring good quality standards are met in the production process.

Glenanore Estate is managed by Agarapatana Plantations Limited under the stewardship of Senior Manager Gayan Wijesekara.
