Sri Lanka’s leading private sector bank HNB PLC partnered with Ansen Agriculture to offer affordable leasing packages inclusive of attractive benefits for Powertrac tractors and Mubota combine harvesters to its growing customer base.
The partnership will offer customers exclusive benefits for Mubota combine harvesters and Powertrac tractors. HNB Head of Personal Financial Services Kanchana Karunagama and Ansen Agriculture Managing Director Angelo Wijesinghe attended the special ceremony held at HNB Head Office to enter into the partnership.
“Each year, we have worked towards empowering our customer base through partnerships of this nature which allow SMEs to expand their businesses. This year too, we have provided our customers in the agricultural sector with several leasing opportunities, and we are happy to be working with Ansen Agriculture to offer our mutual customer base with exclusive deals and leasing solutions,” Karunagama said.
HNB will offer a special interest rate of 0.5% from the prevailing published rate. Customers will also receive a Prestige Prime credit card, with the first year fee waived off, offering customers access to exclusive discounts on automobile products, servicing, spare parts, tyres and batteries.
“We are continuously working towards enhancing the capabilities of our customers in the agricultural sector. As such, we believe that partnerships of this nature will offer us the opportunity to provide our mutual customer base with attractive benefits and convenient leasing solutions to grow their businesses,” Wijesinghe said. Under the partnership, Ansen will offer customers the option of choosing between a warranty for 2,500 hours and an extended two-year warranty from the date of purchase for Powertrac tractors. The company will also offer a warranty of 500 hours or an extended six-month warranty from the date of purchase for combine harvesters.
Notably, Ansen will provide installation and operator training free of charge and waive off the costs for the RMV registration and first year insurance.
