Carolina Estate Watawala achieved yet another all-time record price of Rs. 760 for an invoice of PF1 for the third week running in the CTC Medium category at the weekly tea auction held on 18 October.

This line was purchased by Uniworld Teas Ltd.

Carolina Estate is managed by Hatton Plantations Ltd. and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.

Pedro Estate sets all-time

Pedro Estate situated in Nuwara Eliya has established an all-time record price at this week’s tea auction held on 18 October 2017 by obtaining an attractive price of Rs. 820 for a BOPFs grade selling under the ‘Lovers Leap’ mark.

Pedro Estate is renowned for producing teas with delicate liquoring characteristics.

This estate is managed by Kelani Valley Plantations PLC and this line of tea was sold by tea broker John Keells PLC.
