Hingalgoda Tea Factory achieves all-time record price

Located in Hiniduma, Galle, Hingalgoda Tea Factory, known for constantly producing high quality teas, achieved another all-time record price at this week’s tea auction held on 24 May.

A price of Rs. 1,380 per kg was obtained for a PF in the Off Grade category. This line of tea was purchased by Tea Tang Ltd. and marketed and sold by John Keells PLC. Hingalgoda Tea Factory is managed by Tea Small Holder Factories PLC.
