Imbulgahagoda Tea Factory achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,250 per kg for a Navinda OPA grade in the low grown category at this week’s tea auctions held on 19/20 April.

It is situated in Wanduramba, Galle district and owned by N.T.K. Wijesekara. This line of tea was sold by Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd. and purchased by M/S Imperial Tea Ltd.
