New Vithankanade and Lumbini Tea Factory once again equal OP1 record

For a second consecutive week New Vithanakande Estate Delwala and Lumbini Tea Factory Deniyaya once again equalled the all-time record price of OP1 grade by achieving Rs. 4,400 per kg this week.

New Vithanakande Tea Factory is chaired by Nirmalene Pilapitiya and is under the supervision of CEO Patrick Vanderpoortan, Factory Manager Lal Liyanaarachchi and Factory Officer K.W.N.P. Nissanka.

Lumbini Tea Factory is owned by D. Jayawardena and managed by Managing Director Chaminda Jayawardena.

Both teas were purchased by Tea Tang Ltd. and was successfully marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
