Pedro Estate sets all time record price

Pedro Estate situated in Nuwara Eliya has established an all time record price at this week’s tea auction held on 13 February by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,050 for a BOPF grade selling under the ‘Lovers Leap’ mark. This line of tea was purchased by Lumbini Tea Exports Ltd.

Pedro Estate is renowned for producing teas with delicate liquoring characteristics associated with the Nuwara Eliya Region.

This Estate is managed by Kelani Valley Plantations PLC and this line of tea was sold by Tea brokers M/s John Keells PLC.
