Two all time record prices for Hingalgoda Tea Factory

Situated in the hills of Hiniduma in the sub-district of Galle, Hingalgoda Factory established two all time record prices at the weekly tea auctions held on 19 December. This outstanding record was achieved in the Low Grown CTC category. The PF1 grade obtained Rs. 940 per kg whist the PF grade obtained Rs. 750. These lines were purchased by Shan Tea Ltd. and Qualitea (Ceylon) Ltd. respectively.

Hingalgoda Tea Factory is managed by the Tea Small Holder Factories PLC and has been regularly producing well-made CTC teas. John Keells PLC is the sole broker for the produce of the Hingalgoda Factory.
