Once again, an all- time record price was established by Pedro Estate for a BOP grade, at the tea auction held on 6 July. An attractive price of Rs 2,750 per kg was achieved under the “Lovers Leap” mark, surpassing their own record price for the fourth consecutive week. This invoice of tea was purchased by Mabroc Teas Ltd., and marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.
