All-time record price for Broadlands Small Holders

Broadlands Small Holders Tea Factory situated in Pitawela, Ginigathena, has established an all time record price at the weekly tea auctions held on 13 June by securing an attractive price of Rs. 860 on two invoices of BOPF SP grade in the Low Grown category. The factory manufactures 100% bought leaf and purchases the leaf from 3,500 Tea Small Holders in the Ginigathhena, Laxapana and Yatiyanyota areas. The factory has an annual production of 850,000 kg made tea.
