Dunsinane Estate, which comes under the purview of Elpitiya Plantations PLC, established an all-time record price for a CTC High Grown PF1 grade at Rs. 540 per kg at the weekly tea auction concluded on 7 October. This line of tea was purchased by Empire Teas and sold by John Keells PLC.
